Rule Changes And Clarifications

The following rule changes and clarifications were discussed at the July meeting and will be enforced for the fall meeting.

1) Forfeit Wins – forfeit wins will now count as 3 points in the standings, the same as regular wins. The score (for goal differential purposes) of a forfeit win will be marked as 3-0.

2) Competitive Player Limit – this rule has been clarified to include any competitive (premier, AASL, NOGSL, etc) player, regardless of whether they are on the same competitive team or not. Half of each team’s active roster must consist of “recreation only” players.

3) Corner Kicks – U9 and U10 games will now have regular corner kicks, not “short corners”. This is due to the smaller field used for the 6v6 games. (These ages played 8v8 in previous years).
